Confetti Throw at Pencaitland Parish Church
First, I met up with Emily and her bridesmaids, it was a lovely chilled morning which in turn gave us plenty of time for some relaxed portraits in the Bridal Suite and the sunny library where Emily did a big reveal to her Dad in her stunning Hermione de Paula dress! Afterwards, the Big Red Bus arrived to take Emily and her wedding party to Pencaitland Parish Church where Samuel was awaiting her arrival! The church’s pretty setting coupled with a magnificent confetti throw when the newlyweds made their exit got everyone in the swing for the reception back at Winton!
Afterwards, once back at Winton the guests mingled on the lawns with canopes and fizz, enjoying the sunshine. Meanwhile, we went for a short walk around the gardens for some couple portraits, which we had to cut short due to a unexpected downpour. Despite the shower, the reception carried on inside the Castle and we moved family groups photos to inside the library, it’s great that in the event of rain on your wedding day there are so many different options for photographs at Winton!
Soft Light Photographs
The Stockbridge Flower Company had worked their magic transforming the dining room for the magnificent Wedding Breakfast. Afterwards, the sunshine reappeared and as a result, we made use of the late evening sun for a quick stroll down to the loch for some evening portraits. If you’re looking for those dreamy, soft light photographs on your wedding day, be sure to put aside 10 minutes after dinner with your photographer, it will be well worth it!
To sum up, Emily and Samuel were a joy to work with and I was so happy to be a part of their special day. A truly magical, fun filled wedding. Thank you so much for asking me along!
