Captivating Bridal Jumpsuit and Beautiful Blooms

One look at Alex’s stunning bridal jumpsuit by Karen Millen, and you couldn’t help but be in awe. Her wonderful style perfectly suited her personality, making her the epitome of a radiant bride. And let’s not forget the gorgeous flowers provided by Snapdragon, a wonderful florist in Bruntsfield. Their gorgeous bouquet added the perfect look to Alex’s outfit and had so many compliments.

If there’s one thing that can make a wedding even more special, it’s the inclusion of a furry friend. Alex and Greig’s Chow Chow dog, Vinny, stole the show with his impeccable behaviour and photogenic presence. As an Edinburgh elopement & wedding photographer, I love it when couples incorporate their dogs into their wedding day. Including Vinny in the photographs made my day – dog lovers take note – your furry friend can be an integral part of your special day too!

Exploring Edinburgh’s Iconic Locations

With Edinburgh City Chambers for their ceremony, we didn’t have to venture far from the Royal Mile to capture some lovely candid and intimate moments. Finishing up at the iconic Vennel on the Grassmarket, this provided the perfect backdrop for some iconic photographs on the steps, with Edinburgh Castle in the background.

Confetti on the Royal Mile

Just enough time to capture a confetti moment with the newlyweds and of course Vinny surrounded by their closest friends and family, on the Royal Mile. As confetti is not allowed outside the City Chambers, we moved just outside the square onto the Royal Mile. Who doesn’t love a bit of confetti!

With clear blue skies and warm sunshine, the weather on their wedding day in Edinburgh couldn’t have been more perfect. Edinburgh really is the most perfect backdrop for a city wedding of elopement. From start to finish, this small, intimate wedding at Edinburgh City Chambers radiated so many fun and unforgettable moments.
