As an Edinburgh Wedding Photographer, I’m always excited to capture a mix of elegance and laid-back rustic charm! Molly & Brodie’s wedding was exactly that. Their day was set in the beautiful Scottish Borders for their intimate and relaxed ceremony. Followed by a laid-back, rustic and stylish reception at Molly’s home and family farm.
The day couldn’t have been more gorgeous! Sunshine, blue skies, and a marquee styled to perfection in the garden by the ever-talented Jamie and his team from Flowers By McKenzie. Altogether, it was relaxed and effortless, exactly what you’d want for a farm wedding in Scotland.
Molly looked flawless, thanks to Nichola Hope MUA and Hair Beauty Bridal. They created the perfect look to complement her stunning dress from Rachel Scott Couture in Edinburgh. I loved capturing all the little details—the soft florals, the beautifully styled tables, and of course, Molly, Brodie and their family and guests throughout the day.
Tony from KLS Videography captured some incredible drone footage, particularly some epic shots of the couple leaving Marchmont House in their vintage MG. It was such a classic moment!
As the evening unfolded, Molly and Brodie kicked off the dancing with a beautifully choreographed First Dance, set to the sounds of the fantastic band Cora. The sun was setting just as they hit the dance floor. Of course, we slipped away for some dreamy, golden-hour couple portraits in the wheat fields behind the house. These moments are magical!
