Choosing your wedding photographer is a big deal and there are always some important questions you need to ask!
Here are some of the questions I get asked a lot but if your question isn’t below get in touch via my contact form.
how many images will we receive?
For a full days coverage you can expect to receive 600+ unique images, all individually edited by me. If you’ve opted for a second photographer, you can expect even more!
HOW LONG DO YOU STAY ON THE DAY?
It varies from couple to couple, but a typical full days coverage is approximately 8-9 hours coverage starting from two hours before your ceremony. This will tell a story of your whole wedding day, including pre ceremony preparations, the ceremony, reception and the party afterwards! If you think you would like me to stay after 9pm let me know.
When will we receive our full gallery?
You will receive your full gallery within 6-8 weeks from your wedding day. However, I do send you a preview before then to keep you going until your full gallery is ready!
What happens if you're ill on the day?
It hasn’t happened yet, however, I would call on one of my many wedding photographer friends with a similar style to me. I have a good networking circle and would arrange for one of them to stand in for me. However, be rest assured I would do everything in my power to be there personally.
Will we get copyright of the images?
As the photographer I always retain the copyright. (This is standard within the industry). But I do issue you with printing rights for personal use. Which means you can use them as you wish, except for commercial use.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, I have full insurance to cover all my equipment and Public and Products Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance. I also have a back up of all my equipement with me… just in case! I would highly recommend you have insurance too!

Can we order a wedding album?
Of course! My albums are a wonderful way to showcase your wedding. All albums are made in the UK and individually designed by me with a variety of cover options to suit every taste and budget. I’d be happy to show you some samples when we get together or you can find more details here.
can we book a second photographer?
A second photographer is highly recommended for larger weddings or weddings with multiple locations. So we can be in two places at one time! Get every angle covered and lots of lovely additional candid shots of your guests! Lots more photographs!
Do you travel for weddings?
I’m always happy to travel for your wedding. If your wedding is further than 45 miles from Edinburgh, travel expenses will apply. If your venue is more than a two hour journey, overnight accommodation is required and charged at cost.
How do we book you?
If I am available and you wish to go ahead and book me, I will send you my online booking form. Once received, I require a £500 booking fee and a completed and signed contract outlining all the details of your photogaphy package. You can then relax until nearer the time!
Please note, I get booked up quickly and am unable to provisionally hold dates without a booking fee and a signed contract.
