Natural Wedding Photography in Edinburgh
My natural and relaxed approach to your wedding day is a creative mix of storytelling, editorial and some gentle direction to put you at ease! Of course, we’ll make time for some traditional family group photographs and no more than 20 minutes for your couple portraits. I’ll have you back with your guests in no time so you don’t miss out on the champagne!
Although every wedding day is unique – there are some key moments that every couple don’t want me to miss. I’ll be there to capture it all and all the little moments in between too!

my Approach
I love what I do, I’ve been photographing weddings for over 12 years! I want my couples to enjoy their day and focus on what’s important to them!
I get excited by pretty light and whether that is soft and airy, colourful and vibrant or dark and moody, I work with my couples to suit their vibe.
I enjoy working with fun loving couples who share my vision for relaxed, happy and bright photographs. If you feel you’re camera shy, fear not, I have lots of wonderful tricks to help you relax with no awkward posing either! Your couple shoot will be natural and fun without the fuss and take no longer than 20 minutes, so you can get back to your guests and family and enjoy the party! If this sounds like you, we’ll be a perfect fit!
I edit with a clean and bright style, I want your photographs to look timeless in years to come but that doesn’t mean you won’t get the odd ‘moody’ shot too. I like to keep colours true to life, creating a timeless gallery for you to enjoy for years to come.

Getting Ready
Firstly, I love the wedding morning preparations! I arrive 2 hours before your ceremony. There is always a unique mix of nerves and excitement – plenty of time to capture all that anticipation in the air!
the Ceremony
It’s finally time to get married! I’ll be there somewhere discreetly in the background to capture your big entrance and all that’s going on around you!
Confetti
Yay, you’re married!
Let’s celebrate with some confetti before your drinks reception, the more the better! I’ll organise a confetti tunnel with your guests while you have a quiet 5 mins together!
reception & YOU time
Time for some fizz! When you’re ready we can take a short walk nearby for some relaxed photographs, just the two of you. I know you’ll want to enjoy the party with your guests. I promise I won’t keep you away for long. Afterwards, I’ll take this time to photograph your room details and some fun candids of your guests enjoying themselves!
Speeches
Pre dinner nerves! Speeches are usually before dinner and I’ll be there to capture all the fun and laughter before your wedding breakfast is served and then you can all relax!
Dancing!
Time to get your groove on! I capture all the magic of your first dance, the ceilidh and all the moves from you and your guests!
