If you’re planning an outdoor ceremony at Winton Castle and thinking about the Walled Garden for your ceremony, you’ll love Jennifer and John’s relaxed Winton Castle Wedding!
Summer Walled Garden Ceremony at Winton Castle
It’s clear to see why Jennifer & John chose to marry in the Walled Garden. Just a stone’s throw from the magnificent castle itself, it really is the most romantic backdrop for a wedding ceremony! The happy couple ‘tied the knot’ and exchanged their vows surrounded by all their loved ones! It really was a perfect setting for a relaxed Winton Castle Wedding. If you’re considering an outdoor ceremony at Winton Castle, you can choose from The Walled Garden or the Terraced Gardens overlooking St David’s Loch… decisions, decisions!
Laid Back Bridal Prep
The morning started off meeting with the girls in the Bridal Suite. A lovely, laid-back morning with her bridesmaids while Jennifer was made up by her fabulous Glam Squad, Alana & Michelle. As a result, Jennifer looked flawless and wedding ready! This gave us plenty of time for some relaxed bridal portraits before Jennifer walked across the driveway to the Walled Garden to meet her husband-to-be!
Organising Your Confetti Throw
Once the ceremony had finished, the newlyweds and all their guests headed to the front of the castle to gather for a confetti throw! Afterwards, all the guests gathered for a big family group photograph. In general, it’s always a good idea to have your ‘big’ group photographed directly after your ceremony or confetti throw or just before you head into dinner. As a result, you won’t have anyone missing!
Once the guests were catching up with each other and enjoying fizz and canapes on the lawn, I took Jennifer and John for a short walk around the gardens. The weather was perfect and we even had time to get down to the swing overlooking St David’s Loch.
