There’s something so special about keeping a wedding day beautifully simple, and Leah & Si’s Edinburgh elopement was exactly that. They chose the Wee Neuk Room at Edinburgh City Chambers for their intimate ceremony, perfect for couples who want something relaxed and fuss-free.

With just the two of them present (plus myself as a witness, I’m always happy to help!) and a gorgeous bouquet from Garlands Florist adding a pop of colour, the ceremony felt incredibly personal and meaningful.

Elopement Photographs around The Edinburgh City Chambers

After the ceremony, we took some photographs around the City Chambers in the lovely Exchange Square and under the arches. Afterwards, we headed out to make the most of Edinburgh’s Old Town. Parliament Square was our first stop, with its historic stone architecture. Afterwards, we strolled down colourful Victoria Street, always a favourite with its winding cobbles and vibrant, colourful shopfronts, always fun for photos.

We finished at the Vennel Steps, one of the best spots in the city for views of Edinburgh Castle. It’s a little tucked away, but the dramatic backdrop is worth every step. The mix of relaxed moments and great views of Edinburgh Castle!
