Archerfield Waterfront Pavilion Wedding – Jennifer and Andrew!

Congratulations to Jennifer and Andrew!   I do love Archerfield, it’s one of my favourite venues, I always enjoy shooting weddings there, each one is always different and unique. The day started with a fun filled bridal prep in the Waterfront Marina Villa with Jennifer and her bridesmaids, it’s such a beautiful location for bridal prep and just perfect to capture all of Jennifer’s stylish details and flowers from Roseparks.  Meanwhile, the boys were photographed at the Boathouse before heading off to nearby Dirleton Parish Church to greet all their guests.

After a  beautiful and emotional ceremony with close friends and family, the guests mingled and chatted with Jennifer and Andrew before heading back to Archerfield.  The open sided marquee next to the Waterfront Lodge looked magnificent and a well thought out addition with the threat of rain!  A wonderful drinks reception in and around the marquee before heading off for some couple portraits.  Jennifer and Andrew weren’t phased at all by the weather in fact they embraced it!  We had lots of fun during their couple portraits before heading back to the Waterfront Pavilion to greet all their guests for dinner.  The marquee looked stunning and styled to perfection with so many pretty details and floral arrangements by Florist Roseparks.

We started the day with glorious sunshine and dodged the rain showers in the afternoon but everybody took the Scottish weather in good spirit and had a wonderful time!  The Scottish weather can sometimes be a challenge on your wedding day but with some flexibility and taking it all in your stride and embracing it all like Jennifer and Andrew you can still have wonderful wedding images and a rainy day makes for some lovely dramatic clouds for sunset photographs!
