2019 – A Year In Review

Happy New Year and Hello 2020!

What a year 2019 was and not only am I reflecting on a fabulous year for my little business but also the last decade, as I am now officially celebrating 10 years of being in business! Yes…. 10 whole years!

I want to say a huge thank you to all my lovely bride and grooms who trusted me with their wedding photography. It’s been so lovely shooting at some of my favourite venues, including Archerfield House, Winton Castle, Mansfield Traquair, Hopetoun House, Harburn Barn, City Chambers and Balbirnie House to name a few.  I also added some new venues to my list this year too including, Newhall Estate, McDonald Forest Hills Hotel and Trump Turnberry Hotel! 2020 is shaping up to be a very busy and exciting year with some amazing couples all at fabulous venues.  I’m super excited to be shooting a wedding at Mount Stuart on the Isle of Bute this year, it looks incredible!

Thank You!

A massive thank you again to all my lovely couples who booked me to photograph their wedding in 2019! I really do have the best job and feel so lucky to be a part of so many amazing weddings in Scotland  – Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day!

Dalhousie Castle Wedding – Sammy & Sam

A beautiful Dalhousie Castle Wedding! Congratulations to Sammy & Sam (Sam Squared!).  It was lovely to be back at Dalhousie Castle, steeped in Scottish tradition with a pretty chapel in the countryside and just outside Edinburgh!

Their ceremony was full of humour and personality which suited this couple down to the ground even incorporating the resident owl delivering the rings!  We made lots of time for photographs in and round the grounds in the sunshine!

A lovely fun filled, quirky wedding, lots of laughter with friends and family. These guys certainly knew how to party.  We love your confetti shot! We had an amazing time with you all!

Dalhousie Castle Elopement – Andreza and Alexandre

Dalhousie Castle Elopement – Andreza and Alexandre

It’s always lovely when you’re asked to cover an intimate wedding with just the bride and groom!  Andreza and Alexandre chose to marry at Dalhousie Castle all the way from Brazil. It was such a beautiful day and Andreza looked stunning, such a pretty bride!

It was lovely photographing all their traditional wedding favours to keep all the Brazilian wedding traditions alive on the wedding day.

Andreza and Alexandre chose to marry in the Dalhousie Castle Chapel with an intimate, romantic ceremony and their rings delivered by the resident owl!  Afterwards we strolled through the gardens of the castle soaking up the sunny afternoon and capturing some lovely romantic images.  So relaxed and the perfect Scottish elopement.

Working alongside, Laura Gray Hair and some special Scottish early evening sunshine, we had the most magical afternoon!

Congratulations Andreza and Alexandre! x

Dalhousie Castle Autumn Wedding – Jennifer & Joe

Dalhousie Autumn Castle Wedding

Congratulations to Jennifer and Joe, married at Dalhousie Castle!  A lovely Dalhousie Castle Autumn wedding with their close friends and family.

Jennifer looked amazing in her Stephanie Allin dress and although the Scottish weather was true to form with every season in one afternoon it was extremely windy and very, very cold, I’m so pleased you both embraced the weather and just went with it!  A wonderful day!  Here’s a few of my favourites x
